Navigata Becomes a CLEC in Vancouver
November 22, 2010
Navigata Communications 2009, Inc. "Navigata" is pleased to announce that it has
been authorized by the Canadian Regulatory and Telecommunications Commission
(CRTC) to operate as a Competitive Local Exchange Carrier (CLEC) to provide
local switched services in Vancouver, BC.
"This is a major milestone for
Navigata and our customers," says John Warta, Chairman of Navigata. "As a CLEC
we now have greater control over the delivery of services to our customers,
which will support shorter service delivery intervals, more competitive pricing,
and increased responsiveness by our customer support team."
Navigata
plans to launch a suite of next-generation communications services to
small-to-medium sized businesses in Western Canada starting in Vancouver in
early 2011. Navigata's service offering will include hosted telephony and SIP
trunking solutions that will allow customers to use a single access for both
voice and data.
